Both teams were lucky to win last weekend but they have now moved to the top part of the table and will enter this match in high spirits. Everton snatched the third successive wins, and all were achieved thanks to late goals. The Toffees will try to score a bit earlier this time but they will certainly be satisfied if the trend continues. Boro profited from two defensive mistakes by Aston Villa and they will try to extend their unbeaten run to five game.

The Toffees leave it late

After the very poor start of the season, Everton is now back in business and with three straight wins they have moved to the 7th place in the overall standings. The draw against Manchester United was just a sign of things to come, as the Toffees won their next three games and continued their climb up the Premiership table. Even though the team played fairly well in those games, they were unable to break the opponents until the dying moments of the game, but thanks to great late shows they managed to win all three games. After snatching the victories against Bolton and Fulham, Everton scored three late goals to frustrate very good West Ham on the day and take all three points. Louis Saha scored two of those and showed that he will be a big asset to the team. Moyes will have Fellaini back after suspension and the Belgian will return to the starting line-up, and also Castillo will be in contention for this match. Stephen Pienaar and Yakubu remain fitness worries but they should at least make it to the substitutes’ bench.

Boro moved to the top part of the table

We are still at pain to explain how the team like Middlesbrough is in the top part of the Premiership table. They may be the luckiest team in the Premier League but that will have to change. They managed to win eight points in the last four games but we cannot say that they were the better team in any of the games. They mainly profit from opponents’ mistakes and the same happened against Aston Villa. Even though Villa had the upper hand, Boro managed to take the lead after big mistake from Shorey, but the hosts replied right away and leveled the score. Still, Middlesbrough managed to win the game when Tuncay took advantage of a terrible back pass by Sidwell and the visitors took all the points. David Whether lost his place in the starting line-up with the return of Justin Hoyte and now he faces a fight to return to the best eleven. Julio Arca might be given the chance to earn his first start since recovering from injury, while Mido remains injury doubt.

Betting verdict

Everton players will be in great spirits before this match and they are the favourites to win. They will have some players back in the team and also Saha is in great form. Middlesbrough is on the good run but the results are way better then the performances. Considering all this, we recommend betting on home win.
