Valencia have been impressive this season and they were at the top of Primera for a long time. This is the start of their UEFA Cup campaign and they want to start with a win. Still, Valencia is a big favourite to win this match and we would be surprised if they fail to do that.

The Danes will try to produce a surprise

FC Copenhagen had a good chance to open the UEFA Cup campaign with a win over troubled Saint Etienne two weeks ago. However, the outcome of the match was decided in the opening stages. First the visitors opened the scoring after just two minutes through Gomis and then just few moments later, FC Copenhagen was awarded a penalty for the foul on Santin. It was a great chance for the hosts to get back into the match, but Nordstrand missed the spot-kick, thus significantly decreasing his team’s chances of positive result. The Danes continued to work hard in search for the equalizer but they eventually lost the game. The slow start of the game cost the team dearly against Saint Etienne and they will make sure that doesn’t happen again. The team will be in good spirits considering that they are still fighting for the tile in Denmark, and they are just one point behind Odense and Brondby. We expect them to adopt a defensive approach and try to hit the hosts on counterattacks.
