Harry Redknapp did wonders in Tottenham during his short tenure at the club and the team will enter this match full of confidence after the win over Liverpool. After the defeat from Udinese, the Spurs need three points to return into the race for the place in the next round. Dinamo was lucky to beat NEC in the opening game and they will try to make another surprise, this time at White Hart Lane.
Redknap the saviour
Maybe it is just the coincident that Tottenham’s results have improved from the moment Harry Rednapp arrived to the club but maybe not. After a while the club finally has an English manager and that might be a good thing. The team is still not playing as they should but at least the results are improving and that is very good for the players’ confidence. After the win over Bolton, the team managed to great comebacks and won four points from the games with Arsenal and Liverpool. That has taken the some pressure of the players and the atmosphere will be much better before this match. Harry Redknapp sent on Pavlichenko in the second half of the clash with Liverpool and the Russian worked well with Darren Bent in a 4-4-2 formation, thus Redknapp might be tempted to give them chance to start. However, he is expected to make some changes and Lennon, Hutton, Bale and Gunter might play from the start, while King will probably be rested. Nevertheless, the hosts will adopt attacking approach and they shouldn’t have too much problems against poor Dinamo defense.
Dinamo will try to avoid defeat
Dinamo is struggling in Europe this season but their results were not so bad. After narrowly eliminating Sparta Prague, they managed to win the first match in the group stages against NEC. It was a typical match for Dinamo, as they took the lead, then allowed NEC to overturn the deficit, before they scored two goals late on and won the game 3:2. Coach Ivankovic still has a lot of problems with his players, as they tend to disregard his instructions and just play for themselves. The players have some quality but they simply do not play as a team and no wonder that the performances are very inconsistent. Dinamo has a lot of problems in defense and they are conceding way too many goals. Kelava will continue to deputize for the injured keeper Butina, while Etto has recovered from injury and he might replace injured Mikic. Ivankovic will probably opt for a defensive approach, with Mandzukic as a lone striker.

The hosts will be full of confidence after the recent run of good results and even though they still need to improve, they should be able to beat Dinamo. The Croats were lucky to beat NEC and their defense is really poor, therefore we recommend betting on home win.
