Real: guilty refs

After a tight and pretty hard win over Athletic Bilbao at home, players, board and club management are all steaming because of injustice made by refs. Real won and all it took was several suspicious calls from two last games for whining to start. Pedja Mijatovic, sports executive, was the first one to express his doubts regarding refs’ intentions and it sounds almost unbelievable. Though they have been done wrong against Atletico Madrid in the last round, penalty they were awarded in the last moments of injury time would never be awarded to Atletico in the same situation at Santiago Bernabeu. Mijatovic and Schuster are forgetting how much their club has been favored by the refs in all of the past years. This kind of a pressure laid down on the refs is ugly and unnecessary, since not one person who loves football can honestly believe there is some conspiracy against the most powerful club in the world. It simply is not true and the coach of their greatest rivals, Barcelona, said they have nothing to complain about because the two glorious teams are in better position than all the clubs in the league. We will see if Mijatovic’s words will have some effect in Almeria. They are the worthy rivals and Schuster will have to take this duel very seriously. Higuain is on great form and a call to play for his national team came as a reward for his great performances. This can only be a boost for this player.

This is an interesting duel where both sides will go for a win. Alvaro Negredo, Real’s offspring, caused a lot of problems for his parent club last season. Real will take thtis game more seriously this time because they need points in the league which is stronger than ever.
