 inter are already standing on top of the standings completely alone. They have two points in hand in front of their rivals, but more importantly, biggest threats for their title vying are on the safe distance. Lazio, Catania and Napoli are closest behind. Gasperini felt that his team’s flying performance would have a hard time breaching the packed defense of the Toscanini side, so he entered the game more carefully. His team scored a goal and it was enough to win the game. Former youth coach at Juventus, is very mature at the helm of his present team, if he manages to find the away games recipe, Genoa could even find a way to UEFA Cup next season.
Inter’s routine performance beat Anorthosis

Of course, there is nothing to lose in this game. It is very easy to play the games like this one, Genoa will not only defend because that is no good with Inter. Catania, Lecce and Bologna felt their wrath and Genoa will have to do it differently. They snapped the point from Inter at home last year, but were easily beaten in Milan. Gasperini may choose to rest some players since he is playing a midweek round on Wednesday hosting Cagliari, but he will definitely go with the same system.
Betting verdict
We definitely believe Inter to ease past their opponents, but the odds are tiny and over 2.5 would be a better option with a minor stake. Inter conceded against Catania an d Bologna, have enough quality to score past Rubinho more than once, so we tend to think goals are a good idea. Genoa are not so efficient away, but will have enough space to play and the odds of 1.88 offered at Pinacle is to high even for a solid stake…also, these duels on Meazza are traditionally excited and rich with goals.
