Everton is in real problems this season and nothing is going as planned. Moyes constantly has problems with injured players and it looks that he didn’t have enough time to work with the full squad. The Toffees need one good result and this is a great opportunity as they will face Manchester United. The champions have rediscovered their form and they are very convincing lately. They want to win this game and move closer to the leaders Chelsea and Liverpool.

Everton is close to the relegation zone

If someone told Everton fans at the beginning of this season that their team will be in the bottom part of the table, very close to the dangerous zone, they would surely pronounced him a mad man. And they would be right to think like that after the great last season. However, the team is in a very difficult position at the moment and if they lose this game they could be in the relegation zone. The team lost four of their last five games and everybody can see they are in trouble. David Moyes still has problems with injured players, as Castillo, Yobo and Anichebe are doubtful, while Saha and Pienaar has just recovered and they will need some time before they start producing what they are capable of. The biggest blow for the team is the suspension of magnificent Tim Cahill, who is the only player who can help the team in such a difficult position. He received a three match ban after being sent off against Liverpool and this is the last game he will miss. Without him Everton is just average team, who doesn’t have quality to stop in-form Manchester.

United has 6 successive wins

Nobody doubted that Manchester will recover after the poor start but few of us believed they can make this excellent run so early in the season. Ferguson was able to put the pieces of the team together even though he is still without few first team players and it just shows his remarkable understanding of the game. It seems that at the same time when Ronaldo returned to the team after injury, Berbatov and Rooney clicked and these players have been instrumental in the team’s recent success. United won their last six games, scoring 17 goals in the process and conceding only one. This is really a remarkable record and it helped them climb up the table and also ensure the place in the knockout round of the Champions League. As we have already mentioned, Rooney has been in the form of his life, scoring for both Manchester and England, while Berbatov was also excellent lately, having scored four goals in the last two matches. The team might receive a big boost, as all Hargreaves, Ferdinand and Evra are expected to be fit, thus making United big favourite here.

Betting verdict

Everton is real poor lately and Moyes doesn’t seem to have the answer to his problems. His key players are not fully fit and the best player Tim Cahill is still suspended. Manchester’s recent record says it all and we have no doubts that the visiting strikers will be able to break Everton’s defense. Big stake on away win.
