Referee’s decision was really harsh on Beye, who appeared to have played the ball and Newcastle have already launched an appeal for wrongful dismissal. Newcastle has been given a double boost before the big derby, as Spider-man Gutierrez and bad boy Barton are available for selection.

Both teams have shown recent improvement and the players will not lack motivation in this match. Sunderland was really great against Fulham and if they manage to repeat that performance they will probably win the game. however, Newcastle will be stronger than in the last couple of games and considering this should be an open encounter, betting on over 2.5 goals might be the better option.
