This is a very good record against one of the top two teams in Scotland, although we have to say that Inverness lost last six matches at Celtic Park. They managed to beat very good Klmarnock before losing to Dundee United in the last round. Inverness is now in the middle of the table but if they lose this game they could be back in the bottom part of the table. Celtic is back at the top

Celtic took advantage of Rangers’ defeat from St Mirren and the Bhoys are back at the top of the table. The defeat in the Old Firm derby seems to have shaken up the players and Celtic won their last five league games. They trashed Hamilton 4:0 in the last round and the players are now full of confidence. With Lee Naylor injured Strachan played Barry Robson on left-back and he did a very good job. Strachan will hope that all his players return from the national duty unscathed and fit to play against Inverness. Vennegoor of Hesselink is injured but he won’t be sorely missed, as Samaras and McDonald are ready to step in. Aiden McGeady is in great form and the team is lot stronger when he plays well. Strachan may be tempted to make some changes to his starting line-up, because some of the players might return tired after playing two games for the national team.
