 Milan defeat at Napoli has been sensational result for more then one reason. Milan was close to secure the Champions League place, but they lost everything in just 90 minutes. Napoli did not need points, and recently they had been in pretty bad form. Without Champions League football, Milan loses lot of money and that will ruin their campaign at transfer market during the summer. But, they’ve been knocked out at San Paolo. Udinese has already finished this season as we could see in their defeat from Cagliari. They are without motivation as it is not important if they will finish as sixth or seventh. Their current position is securing UEFA Cup football for them which is more then they hoped for. Injuries and bad form in the January and February ruined their chances for even better results. We should remind you that before that bad run, Udinese has been in position that would guarantee Champions League place.
The worst performance of the season
Milan did not offer anything at Napoli, They did not fight and it was obvious that the team is not the same without Pirlo. All other star players have been tired and out of form. It was interesting to see that stats after the game. It was like Napoli needed the points. Now, Milan is in pretty bad situation.
