The wolves have used Leverkusen’s failure in the best way and now they are level on points with them, after triumphing in Frankfurt. Stuttgart suffered an away defeat against Dortmund and this way lost all hope that they could play in the Champions League next season.


A win would help Wolfsburg leapfrog Stuttgart

The wolves have played excellent in the second part of the season and it would be a waste if they don't get rewarded for their effort with a place in UEFA Cup next season. In the last match Wolfsburg let Frankfurt know on the very start that they will take three points which in the end they did. Former champion will fear for their place in Europe in the last two rounds, especially because they are up against direct rivals and after that they are hosting Bielefeld in need for survival points.
