 Inter - Siena
Inter are just a step from triumph, Nerozzurris have made it slightly harder on themselves with defeat in derby between Della Madonnina and Milan, but 3 points more than Roma are enough for the final 180 minutes of the season. Mancini`s side would defend the title even with 1 win in 2 games, against Seina and Parma. Surely it`s much easier to win a home game, so Inter will put a great pressure at Meazza on Sunday. Siena arrive in Milano boosted after a win over their older brother, Juventus, who achieved mathematical safety. Coach Beretta, as a Roma fan, threatens to prevent celebration at Meazza on Sunday. Tuscanians have already overplayed Roma and Juventus this season, were close to doing the same with Inter, but a referee denied them a win at Franchi in the first duel of the season.
Inter in Copa Italia final
Neroazzurris won over Lazio at Olimpico on Wednesday (2-0), but the win was paid for heavily, since Materazzi was sent off and another 2 defenders are now unavailable, Burdisso and Chivu. They both are doubt for Sunday but it still was another goal accomplished. It`s 4th consecutive Cup`s final for Inter, they`ll probably have to play against Roma, who defeated them in last 2 finals. Clearly, the Championship is a priority. They weren`t exhilarated winning over Lazio, nor was there time for them to get some rest. The game against Siena is much more important and Inter will do anything in their power to win and avoid deciding their fate in the final game on hot pitch in Parma.
Siena had a solid season
What matters the most for Tuscanians is that they`ve avoided suspense finish of the season. Beretta did a great job after retaining Mandorlini`s place, Siena made a series of home wins against Roma, Juve and their regional rival Fiorentina. They gained away points in draws against direct rivals and they certainly deserve to be in Serie A next season. They`ll be motivated at Meazza due to strong friendship connections with Juventus, Inter`s chief rivals. Don`t expect Siena to give in easily, they play off the pressure and weakened Inter don`t seem promising.
Betting verdict
There`s no point in trying with Inter to win at 1.15, they`ll probably win anyway and defend the title, but it will surely be much more suspense game than most expect. If Inter don`t score early on, Siena might take advantage of Neroazzurris` flurry. Vieira and Zanetti were the ones to push forward in last few games, along with inevitable Cruz who retained injured Ibrahimović`s place properly.
