It`s a crucial game for making it to play-off, Crystal Palace against Burnley. Motivation and form are lately on home side, who would confirm a place among top 6, if they win this game. It would be a great success, considering the quality of their squad this season.

Although considered to be certain for play-off, Crystal Palace`s hopes are dented after conceding a goal during closing minutes of their away game against Hull. The1:2 defeat to direct rivals was a result ob both teams` good performance, with quite a few opportunities on either side.

Burnley drew the home game at their Turf Moore stadium against the FA Cup finalist Cardiff (3:3). Although they had 2:0 lead, gritty Clarets could not keep up the pace and visitors drew levell (2:2). It seemed a win is within their reach when Carlisle scored in 83rd minute, but Cardiff equalized only 6 minutes later. Veteran Andy Cole was injured getting 10 stitches after a brutal challenge by visitors` defender Darren Purs, who was shown a straight red card.

Burnley got nothing left to fight for, since they`ve already reached mid-table. They failed in grasping a final win, remaining at just 1 win in last 5 games. Manager Owen Coyle will try to preserve the basics of the team for the following season, since the preparations have already begun.

Betting verdict

Crystal Palace are in a furious shape and we doubt a tight defeat to Hull would prevent them from confirming their play-off status by the win against Burley. Burnley are unmotivated, play much worse away than they do at home, so home side don`t stand much of a chance for this game.
