People that like Italian league will probably tell you that Bologna is one of the greatest clubs in Italy, pride and joy of its town and region, the club that took trophies in the past and the club of great importance at the Apennines. A lot of names were being mentioned, some worn out players were released, so me might even say they are turning the new page. Mudingayi and Volpi have stayed at Dal'Arr, two experienced players, so the midfield was significantly boosted. Few Southamericans, like Uruguay's, Britos and Rodrigez, but you know what's it like with the players from Latin America…vast market with a great risk you won't find what you're looking for.

Defense line a key to last season's success

Unlike Kievo, another promoted team, Bologna reached their promotion thanks to their granite defense. Coach Arrigoni had insisted on hard responsible play, relying on Conte Max and Massimo Marazzina in the offense. Transfer work only proved that strikers are the weakest link in this squad. Spotlighted in the last season, the talented Bernacci from Ascoli has arrived in, but this is the top league and no one can be sure if he will manage to deal with the pressure. Brazil's Diego Roca Coelho is a striker in the current formation, but Bologna are steal searching the right solution. Rossoblu had the experienced team last season, the lack of attacking alternatives might be a problem, but considering the club's magnitude and the financially stabile situation, they can always use the January transfer window in order to additionally boost up the squad or fill in the gaps.

Our tip

This team should be good enough to stay in the league, kick off will tell a lot, euphoria is usually on their side in debut season. We have expected to see more during the transfer window, because Bologna only boosted the existing good sides, while didn't solve crucial problems.
